Very nice! Nice breakfast and clean room. The few minor things were the shower curtain was too high so they must get a lot of water on the floor. Also some paint scrapes on wall and the toilet made a howling sound after it flushed. It was actually funny. Sounded like an air raid siren. We were just travelling through, but would recommend it. ☺
There is no front parking tho cause they have many workers stay there with big trucks & trailers take up all the front parking spaces!
Staff, especially Cassy at front desk, went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. Price compared to other la quintas is fantastic. Room clean and large. We always stay at a la Quinta because they are PET FRIENDLY and don't charge extra. Love them for this!
update: 10/22/2017. this time because the price of EVERY room was the same price. We choose their large 2 room suite. And its great. If we had had people with us, we would have certainly reserved the room next door, so that we'd have a 3 room suite, with 2 full bathrooms. The bathroom is good sized. If we are only doing a weekend trip, where we are only actually having 1 day to see family in Dallas. We will definitely reseerve here over staying in Dallas for $40 to $60 more a night. And we don;t even get this really nice room!
Decent hotel with a lack of attention to detail. For example, the toilet seat is missing one of the plastic covers, there wasn't enough food for the breakfast for the amount of people, the lighting is insufficient in the rooms, and the doors need touch up paint. Overall, the place is decent and the staff is friendly. As there are a limited number of hotels in this area, there is not much competition. Attention to detail is important to me, however, and this place has room for improvement. Supposedly, a water pipe broke, so I was given a different room than my reservation.
Great for an overnight stay. Would also stay here as a base while doing tourist stuff in the area.9-1-2017
Room was never cleaned before we arrived & we got there late did check everything!
They were good tho to give us 1 free so they made everything right in the end!
