If only I could give a zero, worst furniture store in town. Went in to look for beds and just about all the female employees, to put it in a nice way, had a rude face on. Especially the women with short hair and glasses the look she gave was clear she shouldn’t be working with the public. Loved a bed and was planning on buying it but not after the way they acted will never go back in there. Some of them need to work on their people/customer skills.

My first and last experience with Blake Furniture was very disappointing. I purchased a set of couches from them because they offered quick delivery and I had just bought my first house so I did not have any furniture at all. So the quick delivery caught my attention. So I bought the sofas, paid in full and they said that they were going to deliver them that they were going to call me to set a time to deliver. So they called me in the morning not sure about the exact time, but I returned the call about 5 minutes after I had missed their phone call (I was at work that is why I was unable to answer at the moment) well when I called back they said that they would not be able to deliver it anymore that they were booked on deliveries. I had explained to the staff that I was in a bad situation that I had no furniture at the house because I had just moved in and had nothing but a bed, they did not care one bit and said that there was nothing that they could do that I would have to wait till next time that they do deliveries that they did not have a day available yet then they hung up on me. Just like that. So I called back and asked them why they had hung up and once again I explained to them the situation that I was in. So they passed the call to another person I do not recall his name, he was already furious as soon as they passed him the phone he ended up hanging up on me. Then he called me back and told me that if I wanted the sofas that I better go and pick them up because he was not going to get them delivered. It was a very bad experience and unprofessional. I will not be going back to do business with them.
Great place to shop and low prices! Excellent customer service! One thing to say about some of the comments, people who leave bad reviews usually don't tell the whole truth. But one thing I've learned is that people who leave bad reviews think they are hurting an establishment. In all reality, people who know the ones that leave those reviews, know how those people really are.
Very unprofessional! No customer service ethics! Very rude employees! Manager is never there and employees don't care to help customers find out any information about their orders! Don't buy anything from Blake's furniture in Mt Pleasant, tx.
